@microcan I forgot to add that I think the calibration of the nozzle separation parameter is crucial to have proper overhangs where the 2 materials interact with each other and I think that might have the reason the 3dbenchy boat test posted before didn’t come out as well as it could. I just wish I had more time to play with the printer!

@microcan I believe the indentation you mention is caused by a slight missalingment of the nozzles. The calibration process is a bit coarse so that’s as close as I was able to get it with that process. I haven’t had the opportunity to fine tune it directly in the numeric head parameters.

Hi, I got just back from my trip last night and I decided to print a simple double color test overnight, the results were very good. Printed in ABS in fine settings, it took about 4 hrs. Sorry for the crappy pics, not enough time to take them properly.

Yeah, @pete, the main reason I bought the DM kit is to be able to print support in a different, easily removable material (and I’m waiting for sone HIPS filamnet to areive to do that), but still, I don’t see this application as ‘pointless’ or ‘something that I wouldn’t actually want to print’. Thanks for the suggestion @sausp. This was done with the default presets just to see what results I could get straight out of the box. I also thought of reducing temperature but speed also makes sense and I hadn’t thought of that.
