Hi, I got just back from my trip last night and I decided to print a simple double color test overnight, the results were very good. Printed in ABS in fine settings, it took about 4 hrs. Sorry for the crappy pics, not enough time to take them properly.

@click Not much of a difference that I could see. The white ABS is from CEL and the black is a brand I source locally, they’re both of good quality and I’ve had great results in the past with both filaments.

@microcan, I have printed the single material 3DBenchy with excellent results in the past. I’ll share some pics when I get out of work.

Yeah, @pete, the main reason I bought the DM kit is to be able to print support in a different, easily removable material (and I’m waiting for sone HIPS filamnet to areive to do that), but still, I don’t see this application as ‘pointless’ or ‘something that I wouldn’t actually want to print’. Thanks for the suggestion @sausp. This was done with the default presets just to see what results I could get straight out of the box. I also thought of reducing temperature but speed also makes sense and I hadn’t thought of that.

I’ll start a print now with half the speed before I go to work and post the results later tonight.

Pics of what was removed from the printer and the nozzle separation calibration print. I was able to get it properly lined up with just one print. In this case the quality was very high (I guess that’s what motivted me to try the difficult 3dbenchy!).
