one thing with using Hips is it has a very different (much Lower) bed temperature requirement to Ngen and so teh bed temeperature of ngen can make the Hips effectively melt, so need to make sure the bed temp is set for the lower temp material

anyone else also experiencing super slow slicing and processing on this version? we have it on the work PC and it can take over an hour before it starts post processing and there is no way of knowing it is doing anything. have just tried the same models on my home laptop which has 2.01.01 and the same model takes less than 3 minutes to slice &…[Read more]

i did have teh same proplem yesterday actually. it worked for moving the head up & down, but not left to right or forwards & backwards

@bhudson yes was a clean install. also completely uninstalled it and reinstalled. stl was fairly large but hadn’t been a problem on 2.01.01

One thing to mention is that using hips as a support material for ngen isn’t a good idea as the bed temp requirement is much higher as we found out after 10hrs of printing when we realised the bed temp meant the ngen part had slumped from being too hot which messed the part up.

been trying T0 T1 & T2 & t001 & t002 and they all seem to operate the nozzle 1 - can’t figure out how to heat nozzle 2 to do a purge..

Just set my robox off on an 8hr multi material print using silver Ngen & clear Ngen..
streaming it to from an old phone so i can keep an eye on it through out the day..
will keep you posted..

@luis-bustamante is that something you modelled or downloaded?
also did you import STLs or OBJ files as i have had a few problems with import and needing to ungroup and then parts moving on the layout area that i have reported to support

the move arrows are definitely a bit hard to see on the new especially with the dual head on but i like the rest of it

a small vase i modelled up as a dual head test. had some issues importing the files and figuring out how best to save the parts so they don’t get ungrouped, but have had the same issue with teh robox supplied OBJ files as well so maybe a bug
