With everything disconnected the extruder wouldn’t feed so I’ve already taken it to bits and cleaned out. The filament was bulging and full of worn off bits. I think the new plastic insert probably makes this worse.

Thanks @bhudson I can some floss through the extruder and it seems to have done the trick (for now).

@pete Not one of the most exciting applications for MatteForge but I will give it a try! It will soften but not quite as much as normal PLA.

I wasn’t asking someone (you) to produce this just for me. I was naively thinking that a preview is something that could be worked on and then if acceptable implemented by CEL into AM. I guess that isn’t the case. My knowledge of software isn’t good!
