@originalcaruso The paint is not usually an issue as the fastener contacts through the non-painted edge of the frame. There are no other convenient locations to run a ground path readily available. Please make sure that you are adding another ground path to at least the bottom plate of the printer if you are eliminating this ground path.

@originalcaruso This removes the back case ground path unless you make sure the case touches the screws. The reason this was done is to make sure that all metallic components of the printer are grounded as there were some early issues with grounding. Once the screws were changed the ground problems went away.

@originalcaruso This means you overtigtened the screw on the ribbon cable chain support bracket. Loosen the screw so the bracket can move freely. If it still bounces, bend it to the right slightly.

@hogster I always run a purge on a blank PEI sheet before using the other sheets, but it sounds like your nozzle may be too close to the bed.
