@bhudson thanx for the comment seems that xt+polysupport might be the way to go for me..
just to clarify … your changes just affected the support pattern … not other changes (like temperature settings) were modified ?
thanx for your help.

>Have I shown enough love for XT yet?
@dmullerdesign .. yep … that sounds quite convincing 😉
@bhudson : what is the ” with that a little more effort ” bit referring to ? Just curious.
I think I read somewhere that you had success with XT + polysupport ? Any comments about your experience ?
Very tempted now to go with the XT+polysupport f…[Read more]

Thanx @pete for your comment.
>What is the ideal material for your final part?
Nothing planned to print in particular at the moment. Will get my upgraded printer soon so am just curious about the best material combination when one of the materials is used as support (= now decided and ordered polysupport already), to have a great first-print…[Read more]

thanx for the link.. did not see that before.
So basically if I use polysupport I have the following options:
ABS, PLE as GOOD
CO-PET as OKQuickly asked robox support and they said PLE or CO-PET …
Hmm… not sure if I am not more confused now (too many options)…
So of all of the above … which would be the best if print accuracy…[Read more]

Sorry to start another support material thread. I think I read now through most of them
and the consensus seems to be that the best support material at the moment is Polysupport.
But what is the best material to combine it with ? I am “just” after a clean finish with minimum wrapping ;-).
Thanx for any advice.

good point .. missed the upgrade service option … after looking at the youtube video I lost a bit of confidence to be able to do the installation myself .. not sure .. maybe I should use the service upgrade as well.,

>The machine will need to go back to have the dual material kit installed when it is available.
Is this what is going to happen ? I was wondering who is going to install the kit. But if robox are doing it then I expect that they don’t send you the kit but just wait for you to send them the printer to install it .. that would make more sense ..…[Read more]

this might be an odd question but …
what is the interactive part of the height calibration actually for ? Before the “paper sliding”-bit starts there are lots of automatic
messurments beeing taken. Also before each print the printer determines the position of the bed. So why is that additional offset needed ?
I thought originaly that maybe…[Read more]

@bhudson … thanx … would like to try but i cant eject.. pressing eject via automaker or 3sec press just results in flashing
ejection light and fan noise … no movement … at this stage i am quite worried doing anything more wrong 🙁

@bhudson got similar advice from support.
After removing the head was able to remove leftover filament.. hurray… but when i put head back i get an error saying that the head has no power (but its fixed correctly AND the fan is moving in the beginning) … i tried removing adding back a couple of times but no luck … wanted to recalibrate but…[Read more]
