Whilst I appreciate the reply Lee you’ve posted a PC fix for a Mac issue. AM see’s two versions running, or fires up two versions on start up, there is no other Java app or java running with the exception of AM, I’ve ruled that out through terminal.

Hi Mike, as per conversation that didn’t work either. AM doesn’t generate anything in my home folder. The log file repeats the ‘instance already running’ rubbish as if, despite restarting, shutting down, pulling the power lead and leaving for an hour, the application won’t die.

Hi Mike. downloaded your java.zip and replaced mine. That didn’t work either.

Nothing in that thread helped. I don’t have a file named ~/CEL Robox/roboxpreferences.pref

I don’t have any other Java running (checked in Activity Monitor and in Terminal with command sudo /usr/libexec/java_home)

Not sure how I add a crash log when the application fails to repeatedly start. OS is Sierra, never worked from the day the last ‘upgrade’ was released. It was a fresh install of Sierra.

There are still on-going issues with AM 3.0.0 and Apple Mac. Frequently requiring the software to be completely uninstalled and reinstalled/ frequent restarts of the machine but this appears to be Mac specific and Java related.
