    I have several commercial Robox units

    These parts are supposed to have smooth sides but I’m getting what looks like under extrusion? The strange things is the that is repeats in a pattern. I’ve checked the gcode preview and it looks ok.

    Any ideas?

    @pete Sure, see attached.

    I thought it might be something to do with the bowden tube so tried it on my other printer. Same result.

    I’m not printing the other “enclosure” model on the other printer too so I can rule out a model issue.

    @pete Unfortunately the second print on the other machine didn’t finish because the Z screw is sticking again. I forget how many times these machines has been apart now with Z screw issues.

    @pete I’ll try after the current job is finished.

    On the other machine it looks like the Z screw needs replacing again. I’ve given it a good clean but still jams up.

    hmm must be something causing that. I lubricated mine yesterday for the first time in 2 years. (I call it testing but it is really just general abuse of my tools 😛 )

    @pete I’ve had problems with the Z screws on both machines, purchased at the same time… from the same batch?

    I’ve opened a ticket anyway.
