My Robox is a Blue Commercial Version

All chassis parts built in black PLA using the CEL Robox 3D Printer including the wheel rims and hubs, steering, wishbones, sides, bottom and top structures, servo holder and mechanism, front/rear and central differential housings. Originally all the drive system, including gearing, was 3D printed to prove it would work, but for longevity I switched the design to an all metal driveline. The original design comes from Daniel Noree’s Truggy Project (https://plus.google.com/communities/112745535856143176146)

I have both RoboxDual and other Robox versions

Looks great. We love RC here at CEL, there has been several incidents. A quadrocopter into Chris’ 2 week old van made a nasty dent. Brushless motors in mini rc cars can result in some danger to local residents.

I’ve been keeping a close eye on the nylon filaments in testing right now. Some of the prints are genuinely unbreakable.

My Robox is a Green Kickstarter Limited Edition

@pete Flying RC helicopters (and in some aspect three/quad/hex/octo-copters) is similar to riding a bicycle: you need to know how to do it to be able to do it. It takes lots of practice to get handle of them. I bet this guy had his 1000 hours several times to be able to do this:

My take on that (same heli), after 5 years of having it as a hobby (Sunday flyer):

So - keep it away from kids and kids in later ages 😉

(not going to tell you what happened with my first RC Heli on my first flight)

@parney: Quite inspirational. Since I have very little time to play with Robox I was trying to interest my son doing it.

My attempts at RC stuff stopped making some (not all parts can be or even better should be made with 3D printer) RC heli parts and fixing my sons car (steering rod) and my RC plane (motor mount):
