Unfortunately pyropetepete is no longer working with us. There will be delays with service and support requests.

We are searching for both experienced technicians and clever problem solvers to take senior and junior positions within our team in Portishead, near Bristol in the UK. If you or someone you know is looking for a change or a new opportunity in a technology based position please check out http://www.cel-robox.com/jobs/

While I can’t move to the UK, I am happy to assist in any way possible from the US. Sorry to hear about PyroPete, I hope you can find someone quickly.

Ooh, that’s bad news, I liked it that he was so active on the forums; But thanks for the heads up! Hopefully you guys can find some time soon to check my print-head out so I can print again somewhere in the near future :(

Shouldn’t that read “We are searching for both experienced technicians and some clever, charming problem solvers with endless patience, perfect manners and the skin of a rhino to take senior and junior positions within our team in Portishead”

There, fixed that for you. ;-)

@biscuitlad +1 ;-) (Although pyropetepete brought a smile on my face every once and while, it was a bit blunt most of the times).

I can only repeat my offer:
deliver me under your conditions your source code so I can study it and decide if I can make myself usefull.
And when I’m usefull, in the best case I can work from abroad with a few visits now and then,
in the worst case I move over, but that won’t be decided in one day :)

Do I need to say I’m a javafx programmer ?
and for some strange reason you can assume I’m interested in 3D printing,
but I forgot what it was again LOL

@pelgrim why don’t you just apply for the job and discuss this with the person handling your application instead of putting it up on a public forum that they barely seem to read (or respond to)? I don’t think any decent company would respond on a public forum to why a contract with a employee has been terminated or to discuss employment terms.

That said I really hope they find someone soon; PPP has been gone for a couple of days now and I haven’t seen any other input from CEL on the forum since then. I understand you guys must be super-busy and all but the only thing really missing on this forum is some input from your side on problem solving, hints on getting better prints and updates on what you are working on :)

I apply for a job when I know I can do it very well.
The only way I can do this for a this product is study the code, I never saw a javafx project in production, it’s simply not done in Belgium, no idea why by the way.
You think I go travel all the way to Portishead just to find out it’s not my thing anyway ? No thanx, if I do that kind of trouble, it means both parties are allready convinced we can work together.

erm. I’m positive they won’t send you the source code so that you can deliberate if the job is worth taking or not. The only way to be sure in life is to put your money where your mouth is. i.e. apply if you are seriously motivated..

Otherwise, rest easy because there should be many takers in their area. A company like this definitely has links to recruitment agencies, and has certainly posted the required profile on a job site.
