Hi Guys,
Many of you offered to help us with the translations for AutoMaker, so I’ve set up this topic for those that want to get involved. We have hosted a spreadsheet on Google Drive which contains all the software terms, and the associated translations. You can find it here:AutoMaker Translations Spreadsheet
If you think you can contribute, either email us at info@cel-robox.com or leave us a message on here with your chosen language and email address, and we will set you up with a link that has ‘modify’ permissions, so we can keep track of who is editing what. This topic can also serve as a discussion where disagreement over particular terms occurs, to help us produce the most accurate translations we can.
Thanks in advance for your help guys!
Chris

24/01/2014 at 12:34 pm #1593Hello,
is it possible to have acess to a beta version of Automaker at this point? Or even some print screns.
In the translation process there are several messages that can have a different translation, depending where they are presented, and is dificult without knowing that.
Best regards.
24/01/2014 at 3:49 pm #1618I am still waiting for the link or permission to edit the file.
Best Regards,
Thiago24/01/2014 at 4:21 pm #1619@Thiago - I’ve just sent you the shared link now.
24/01/2014 at 4:24 pm #1620@Magelan - Thanks for your excellent work on the Portuguese so far!
Could I ask if the translations you have done are a specific dialect? (@Thiago is looking to do Brazilian Portuguese) We don’t currently have the software ready for beta release, but don’t worry there’s plenty of time to adjust the translations should there be any errors. It’s coming soon, I promise…24/01/2014 at 4:46 pm #1621@Chris - The translation is not a specific dialect. A few years ago was signed a Language agreament betwen the diferent countries that speak Portuguese, so the language is the same. The diferences are minimal, similar to the ones that you have on diferent areas of the UK, or the USA.
Best regards.
24/01/2014 at 10:26 pm #1623@Chris: I just checked the German translation and as a software developer I can tell you that many phrases are not that good at all. Please let me help with some of them and you will get a much better wording on them. I just sent you an email with my request.
Thanks!
27/01/2014 at 8:46 am #1628Hey Chris,
I decided to create a new column for Brazilian Portuguese, even if they are similar is very strange for a brazilian to read some Portuguese words, I hope you don’t mind.
I also corrected the Italian translation I think should be fine at a first glance.Cheers,
