Thanks @pete
Still total devastation here but yes sorry about that, didn’t think of the brand when I posted the image… ooops
So, no takers on the PLA.
Any school, university, makerspace or non-profit who would like them can have them FOC (UK Only). Just drop me a message or email.

Due to a fire at my home, all 3 of my Roboxes included an unopened DM kit-grrrr- were destroyed. This is the end of an era as it’s going to be a long time before I can afford to replace them (insurance nightmare).
I was running my machines all on ABS which went up in flames with them.
However looking through my drawers indoors I have found a…[Read more]

I can see that RBX-PET-TP001 is out of stock everywhere now and we are down to our last reel.
It’s the main filament we use, is there a supplier that I don’t know about in the UK that stocks this?

Will those with a pro contract like myself get the DM / flexi filament upgrade service included in their contract if they have already ordered a DM head?

Luke started the topic Feature Request: Mid-print eject button fuctions in the forum Feature Request 2 years ago
The eject button is great but after a job has started, it would be brilliant to be able to disconnect and then still have a certain level of control of the machine.
Short Press - Pause / Resume
Double Press - Abort Print.
Will flash red for five seconds.
Abort can be cancelled during flashing red phase by another short press. Printer will then…[Read more] -

It’s a tad frustrating to say the least. There is no logic to the order they need to be connected and when you get past 3 printers it becomes increasingly more complex to find the “proper” order. In fact I cannot get more than 3 to be detected which is strange as each one has it’s own serial port enumerated on the system and they all respond to…[Read more]

IF they are both detected, when you click on “To settings” you get the print settings page, on this page just click on the robox you wish to use on the left. It helps to give them different names and colours.
I’ve had issues getting all my roboxes detected (I usually can only get 2 to show, sometimes 3 if I am very lucky but I have 6 units so i’…[Read more]

Ok, no problem.
Just a little something for QA to double check before packing, will prevent a lot of headaches later as its unlikely to rear it’s head on the test print,

@bhudson, is this something that will happen over time or it a one-time “adjustment”. Sounds a bit of a DIY solution, why are there no grub screws or something for these kind of adjustments.
Not sure if the boss would allow me to put that much force on the clips with a screwdriver thru fear of breaking the machine :-/
I suppose some stainless…[Read more]

@bhudson, what is the proper order?

Maybe this highlights the issue better.

Please update the firmware to use eject button to abort prints. (Begging)
and really hope multi printer support is improved as the cable shuffling is getting impractical.

So I have a brand new robox just commissioned today to experiment with new materials and would be the future dual material machine.
The problem is the PEI sheet wobbles about.
Bending it does not help it stay secure. Needless to say, the prints came out a total mess.
How can this get through QC and what is the underlying cause?

For those that want to stick with 100% stock software, just install teamviewer and a webcam. TV supports watching the camera and using a smart phone / tablet one can remotely cancel a job using AM if you start printing noodles.

@pete sounds great 🙂
I can confirm the rbx-toolset is still working and I have started work on the python library. I can currently start / stop jobs, upload gcode and get printer status using python. There is a small OSX issue where the connection stops working after being closed and required replugging the USB cable to get it to connect…[Read more]
