I am running a production model and have been printing on it since 25th Oct with only one problem, filament feed, fixed in short time by support. I use Tinkercad to design most of my things and Meshmixer to check before printing. The knife holeder designed with Tinkercad as was the yellow filament guide in the background.

If you intend to use this directly onto the Robox hub as it appears from the drawing how are you going to insert an EPROM to make it work?

I just paused and ejected the filament that was running very low and then fed in the new filament, a bit of a panic at the time. Pete’s article was in the back of my mind so I new it could be done and the change over went very smoothly as you can see from the result.

My wife remarked “does your machine only print in green” I thought I really should try another colour so as I had some sample lengths of filament I gave it a go and printed Ver11 of my blade holder but the sample ran out as you can see so quickly found another length and carried on quite pleased with the result. Picture and stl attached I…[Read more]

I just leave well alone, normal quality, 3 brims and 50% infill and push the button. I bought it to plug and play and that’s what I do I dont know enough to fiddle with the other settings and I have a stack of ABS from a friends defunced printer so that’s what I use, I print at 102% to allow for shrinkage and it seems to work for…[Read more]

I have been using my Robox for a few days now and thought that I should show a few of my prints. They are all done in normal mode and with ABS I am very pleased with the results with no adjustments, I find that if I need to be accurate with size I print at 102% the Dremel attachment screwed strait on and is a good tight fit.The knife block was…[Read more]
