@pythag I also sometimes have similar problem - after changing filament. I’ve tried make tip from some other materials. Only one of them is better - thick carton. But I think it is not safe for heating.

@bhudson No, I have not opened ticket yet, just because I don’t know how to separate bad STL from print error. It’s strange, but bug happens very rare on things designed by myself, but often on downloaded things.

I have printed same files many times - it most cases problem repeats.

I’ve specially downloaded some things from Thingiverse made by many others. Some of them always got X shifts when I print its. Shift does not depends of material, Automaker version, thing’s orientation on bed etc.

I don’t think it’s PEI shift: I was observing specially while printing and registering PEI position - I would have noticed moves for so big value (1 mm).

Can I try to fix first variant - poor connection - by removing and installing the head?

Unfortunately, now I have only one reel of ABS (others are PLA).

Maybe I can dry reel by heating it in Robox’s camera?

When I started this thing, I thought about it only as test, to understand what can be made with 3D-printer. So I was surprised when it happened to be a nice toy. And now I understand that Robox can make very ineresting things!

Agree, printer has not enough resolution to print serious models in H0. It can be used only to make workpieces for futher finishing, also items for diorama etc.

That’s my profile. But I’m printing only simple things with it, so don’t know how it works with complex objects.

Can you print it also with layer height 0.05 ?
