Just a thought, I think the quality could be improved by moving the head up and down between start stop positions, especially with the new pillar supports, ie head lifts vertically up half a mm after the valves close, moves to the next position, then retracts down half a mm before opening the valve. Perhaps this could even be done with the nozzle cam, ie half rotation so both nozzles are horizontal, rather than one up, one down. Not sure if its plausible with the hardware.
The nozzle keeps a small amount on the tip, so if its dropping into a start position rather than sliding into it, may reduce chances of the excess catching and blobbing on the exterior. Seems logical it would help with the pillar support too, they seem to get swiped out of position when the head moves in to place.
Would obviously increase print times, so a tick box to activate it would be nice.
