I noticed on my last couple of prints that everything was being done by the fine nozzle even though I’d selected the “Normal” setting.
What settings would use both nozzles and can you remind me where to look to see that?
Cheers,
Andy

You have 0.8mm nozzle in draft and 0.3mm nozzle in other settings. Not sure we’ve ever given explanation…
On the other hand, that should prevent you from creating your own profiles where you specify different nozzles for different parts of the print…

click.
12/02/2015 at 10:44 am #15436You have to manually change the nozzle profiles yourself now Andy. When you are on the settings screen click the three dots to open the slide out dialog, you’ll see three tabs, one named ‘nozzles’. First create a new profile by clicking the ‘Save As’ button. Then you can adjust which nozzle you wish to use for what.
I found that using the 0.8 nozzle for the first layer helped a lot to get a smoother, more solid finish and better bed adhesion. Hope this helps and if I’ve got this wrong people, please correct me.

I’ve voluntarily chosen a combination that doesn’t make sense but can be selected, in order to understand better what does the slicer do with it.
