As I am researching 3d printers before I choose which one I read A LOT of forums. Regarding PLA most moddable printers have users altering the fan flow for PLA, so that it cools quicker. I’ve seen several items on thingaverse that point the airflow directly around the nozzle. I don’t have a robox, but is this possible? I don’t know the current fan configuration.

@kunguru: yes, there are a bunch of cooling / fan control parameters that can be set from the user interface. In addition, you can set any arbitrary Slic3r settings by editing the print profile file.

@terrence you could also try G4 which is a dwell in seconds/milliseconds, causing Robox to wait before continuing - take a look at section 8.1 of the manual for more information. It’d be nice to see how you get on - it seems you know what you’re doing…
