Morning guys,
So for some reason earlier my Robox stopped recognising the filament, showing up as ‘unknown’ rather than the name and how much is left!
Also i have been trying to purge material, clean nozzles and eject to try and get material printing, but nothing is coming out the nozzle.
Any insight into what I can try to fix this? I have searched but no similar errors.
ThanksMarch 9, 2016 at 12:05 pm #27765I had similar try this
first take spool of just to break contact put it back on then try.
else try this
shut down pc
turn printer off
rrstart pc
open automaker
turn on printer

March 9, 2016 at 2:54 pm #27789Thanks for the reply, I gave the pins where the reel fits a wipe, and it’a detecting the reels again! There’s still no luck trying to purge material but I now have filament slip errors pop up so will look at some the posts on here about it

March 9, 2016 at 11:16 pm #27814@jayt Filament slip is usually a failing extruder or poor connection to the head. Open a support ticket; either issue may need an RMA.
I operate two Betas and four Production Robox.

I started a purge material and gently applied force to push the filament in, and amazingly it started pulling from my fingers on it’s own and started printing! I think maybe there could of been a blockage? Any way thanks for your input, thought I would just let you know it’s working again now -
