@truikki - interesting what you say about power peaks. I’ve had a stack of problems with ABS where the printer has just “died” or stopped dead during printing, with the head resting on on the bed and not responding. The lights flash when it happens, and I notice the USB sound in windows goes off twice, like it’s lost the connection and then come back on again?

Do you know if the problem is ABS specific? It’s true it might use marginally more power heating the bed and nozzles higher than with PLA. If this is the case, then it’s a definite hardware fault.

I have only used ABS so i dont know with PLA. I think some kind of surgearrest with battery could help and be usefull anyway. Another thing is lenght of the usb cable.

@truikki ABS warping can be significantly reduced if you keep the door closed whilst printing and let it cool slowly (with the door closed) when its finished . . .you may have already done that though
