I went to bed with my Robox in the UK, and awoke with it in the US. It has cleared customs and is now on the ground and headed to me (on Monday).
@3dnerd, How many pieces did your DHL status page were being delivered? I ordered extra reels and my status page says my delivery is “2 pieces”.
still the same status after 13 days: “Shipment information received” .

My robox is on it’s way. At an airport in Belgium now, apparently.

Mine is on my desk. Just installed the software and am about to hook it up to my computer.
Calibrations complete (am I right that the X/Y calibration mentioned in the manual is not yet available in the v .15 of the software?
Making my first print. Pulled the gantry packing clip of the included USB card and am printing that in normal mode.

Due to a mix-up they sent me a roll of Black PLA instead of Blue PLA and the black does not photograph well at all. Will try some pictures tomorrow.
Initial impressions are I am very impressed. The clip printed great. And a few other tests worked quite well as well. More info in the days to come (I will start a “show us your bits post” tomorrow).
Received a package from DHL today. Well, actually it was handed to my neighbour. I was excited, but when I collected it, it was only one package out of two. Unfortunately it was not my Robox
but only my additional filament. And even the filament was one of of two. The order one is in backorder. Very nice of CEL to offer another colour if I didn’t want to wait.Hopefully DHL will visit me tomorrow again….
@medisadelft Unbelievable! The same happened to me yesterday! I called DHL and asked them to deliver my Robox next Friday….
@merlin I’ve not seen DHL yesterday although 2 pieces were “with delivery courier”. The 2 pieces were shipped again this morning, only 1 delivered this afternoon. I’m not getting my hopes up. In case they do not deliver again. Apparently this is DHL Express delivery. Too sad: took almost a week. UK Postal Service is just as quick. I’ve been waiting so long, one more day doesn’t matter…
Yes! Robox is in da house! Only, the box is damaged.
I’ve had the delivery man make a note before signing. Gonna open the box in a minute to see if my robox is okay…It seems like my Robox is okay, at least optically. Got some smears and fingerprints on it (not mine), but seems okay besides that. Not connected or tested my brand new robox yet. I’m just glad that the side where the additional attributes box (abs reel, tools etc) was placed, was damaged. My Robox would have seriously been taken a hit otherwise.
