Just having heaps of issues. :(

Is there a way to improve bridging? If you look at the photo I attached, I’m getting sagging bridging.

And it works pretty well too. I myself replaced the AM provided Slic3r with the current stable version at that time as well. Not sure if the Slic3r upgrade had any positive effects on the outcome but that’s what I did in my case. I can say the Slic3r upgrade did improve prints overall.

I was hoping AM had some configuration I could play with instead of something a bit more roundabout. I hope AM will have this feature built-in soon.

@trekman42, how did you replace the AM provided Slic3r? I’m using a windows machine, do I just uninstall the old Slic3r and install a new one?

Replacing it is a simple as

    (1) Find the Slic3r directory in your install. I can’t immediately remember where it is but it’s there (maybe in Common maybe not).

    (2) Rename the Slic3r directory to something else (example: Slic3r_orig). Never throw anything away!

    (3) Copy the latest stable version of slicer back in. The directory from your download should already be named Slic3r so it really just a simple copy operation.

You probably don’t even need to exit AM before you do this but I would anyway.
