I would like to see an option in the print dialog to eject the filament(s) at the end of the print job. I realize that we should not leave the machine unattended, but some times that is necessary and being able to auto-eject the filament(s) at end of job would be handy.

if you want this to happen after every print you could add it to the macros but I think the macro for end of print is shared by the cancel button so it might eject when you cancel as well.

Heating from ambient to eject is typically less than 1 min. What advantage is there to having this happen after a print?

Not to destroy the thread, but when I am trying to knock out a repeat print it’s an absolute faff waiting for AutoMaker to stall the next print until its cooled down fully, and then you have to wait until it has heated up again before it starts printing again.

I’d like a faster way to stop the cool down, as I have popped the door many a time and pulled the print off the bed, and cleaned teh support out, and it still hasn’t finished cooling down.:)

    Ah mike 🙂

    Untick Safety Features

    Preferences>Printing>Safety Features

This tickbox enables the option to open the door immediately after the print and burn your fingers. There is no cooldown.

@pete, I don’t filament to eject after every print, I would just like a button that you could tick to say eject print after this job is done.
