It’s a bit confusing for the moment:
I read people downloading and testing AM 1.01,
but on the donwload page I only see AM 1.00.17.Did some of you receive the new version to test, like Pete was planning to do,
or is there a mix-up of version numbers ?java (EE), JavaFX, HTML, GIS) programmer, database wizard, framework inventor, looking for a job ! http://roboxing.com/wizards22/12/2014 at 6:48 pm #12326We’ve been emailed the software as we volunteered.
22/12/2014 at 6:54 pm #12327thank you to clear that up,
smitty wrote “1.01 downloaded it this morning and …”
which sounded a bit strange.Wish you all happy testing.

Rest of us can only be jealous and hope new version is going to be released soon. But I have a bad feeling that it might not be in this year
22/12/2014 at 8:40 pm #12334I don’t feel being selected is a privilege, it’s just us being helpfull.
After all it’s spending time and plastic on something that possibly can go wrong.java (EE), JavaFX, HTML, GIS) programmer, database wizard, framework inventor, looking for a job ! http://roboxing.com/wizards22/12/2014 at 9:01 pm #12337@clicky its defo an improvement with cura my prints seem so much cleaner and no blobbing !!!!!!!
smitty22/12/2014 at 9:08 pm #12340Good luck with the testing chaps. Have any of you got OS X Mountain Lion to test with as that’s what I will be running Automaker on, I want to keep the new iMac clean of clutter as it’s taking over the role of design workhorse in the studio.
Hopefully the answer is yes from one of you, I’m looking forward to the new (bug-free) release of AM!
22/12/2014 at 9:29 pm #12344new version working well for me. very good layout and more user friendly. i have still manually adjusted the head heights so lower down after doing the nozzle height calibration and getting v good bed adhesion. Cura is way better thats for sure. need to try out the x&y nozzle calibration again but not really noticing i need it at the moment. one thing missing is teh ability to heat the nozzles or beds manually but haven’t needed to yet.
it does tell you to close the lid before printing which i know some people won’t like but you can open it again once it has started transfering data as personally i like to remove the purge material before it gets going.
think people will be very happy as its some major improvements on what was already pretty damn good for such a short development time.22/12/2014 at 9:36 pm #12348@dmullerdesign your like me you keep the iMac free of clutter and just use it for ya cad lol ,@streatsi yeah your right its looking nice

Those prints look so much better. I just hope it works okay on Mountain Lion now.

23/12/2014 at 7:50 pm #12412@dmullerdesign i don’t see why it shouldn’t work okay ,so far its working pretty well on yosemite on odd occasions software stops working but thats mainly have the laptop has gone to sleep and I’ve then woke it up and am won’t respond but that has never effect the print yet
smitty23/12/2014 at 8:06 pm #12415Missed out on ‘selection’ but delighted to read that Cura has been adopted.
