Unable to calibrate nozzle opening after upgrading to AutoMaker 1.00.14

Has anyone else run into a problem of not being able to calibrate nozzle openings? I used to be able to do it with the previous version of AutoMaker but after upgrading to 1.00.14 the calibration process gets stuck at the “Priming nozzle” phase. Printing works just fine. I’m only having problems with the calibration. I’m having the same problem in both Windows and OSX.

Me too. Just upgraded and now it gets stuck at Priming Nozzle just like @Mikko.

Apologies - we made a minor modification to the calibration routine and have introduced the problem you describe. Looks like it slipped through the net before release.

 

I’ll build and test a fixed version now and reissue as 1.00.15.

Thanks Ian, but why can’t we upgrade to the latest version straight off? I had to download 14 and then 15. Seems a bit daft having to download it twice.

BTW Ian, congratulations on curing the drips between small features. Getting pretty clean prints now.

@biscuitlad - thanks - we’re still working on the small area drips so expect more changes soon!

You should be able to go straight to the current version. Did you re-download from the site or get an upgrade when you ran AutoMaker?

It may be just that I hadn’t finished updating the links when you upgraded.

Ok, must have been unlucky timing. Not surprising for me!

@ian I just went top try and uninstall v1.00.14 using windows uninstall and there was no sign of automaker in the uninstall programmes window, whereas there had been for v 13.

also having just upgraded to v15 it isn’t visible either so no way of uninstalling?

I also just tired using the downloads page to get an older versin as i want to try and take my firmware back a step or two so i can then reinstall the v14 firmware (as i had better print results before doing the mod for the old extruder) but none of teh old version links work aprt from v13 would it be possible to also have a download area for older firmware?

I’ve been printing some blobby parts all weekend as the 0.3 needed calibration. Hopefully this should fix it.
