How can I reprogramme an empty Cel reel from one material to another.
03/04/2015 at 5:29 pm #17242@doncolley In AutoMaker, click the “gear” symbol in the upper right hand corner. Click “Environment” and check the “Advanced Mode” box. Read and accept the warranty disclaimer.
Click the “Back” arrow and click the three white dots to open the advanced settings pane. Click the “Reel” tab.
You have two choices at this point. If you have a filament profile already made, you can simply select it from the dropdown menu under “Write a known filament to the reel” and then click “Program Reel”. Otherwise, enter the filament profile data into the boxes and click “Write to reel”.

Also did you manage to sort out the problem with XT and the blown O rings?

I think you dont need to unlock advanced mode for this, cant verify at the moment tho.

04/04/2015 at 1:48 pm #17247No I don’t have the profile
04/04/2015 at 2:46 pm #17249Just a tought, if you want to fool system, install previous version and make profile there
well improvements in latest version are minor so one can stay in previous version
04/04/2015 at 5:30 pm #17253@doncolley CEL says that they think the _XT and blown o-rings is not the material but the o-rings being defective. My new heads have been printing just fine.
I don’t know of any problems with Bridge. The last several prints I have made with it haven’t had good interlayer strength, but I am not sure if that is the material or my settings.

I will have to try another way as I am trying to make a hamburger holder for a disabled young man so really it should be in nylon I think.
