I just have a small regular generic spool of PLA I want to try. But I can’t do any calibrating, or printing it seams without a Robox Reel loaded. I don’t want to load a reel to fake it out all the time. Is this possible. ITs not obvious in Automaker what to do. The Reel Menu (Hidden in that vertical bar you have to expand to find, has portions greyed out because no Reel)

I currently want to test the nozzle openings, and I can;t start because some message at bottom right is telling me to load a reel. yeah.

    thanks

My Robox is a Green Kickstarter Limited Edition

I think I’ve noticed the same and overcome it by putting robox reel in (and not loaded it) and kept one with material I wanted next to robox and fed it in the printer. Wasn’t pretty solution but it worked.

Robox confuses me. I put a dud reel on. Attempt to make some custom settings to reprogram the reel. The menu and interface for this is cumbersome to say the least. And When I attempt to print this way.. Nothing happens. Robox just sits here diddeling with itself. If I reprogram the reel back to GREEN ABS.. and load green fliment in from the reel.. it prints.

Automaker I think wants to be intuitive, but its not. I needs to make this WAY more obvious and clear to the user.
