Duel Material Print head.

I have 6 simple cylindrical pin objects on the bed. 3 Black (1,2,3) and 3 Pink. (4,5,6)

When the print starts the software chooses to print the pins in an order such as 1,4,2,5,3,6 (black, pink, black pink, black…)

This feels unessesary and a waste of time for the print head to be switching colors so fas…[Read more]

For comparison, When watching a replicator 2 do its infill an an object I built, the machine just flows and does a consistent job.

In my Automaker I load a small STL.

It appears on the build plate.

When I duplicate it, the copy appears outside the buildplate as Red geometry.

If I duplicate multiple times, All copies rest ontop of each other outside the build plate.

When I goto SETTINGS The program will start crunching the time it takes to make my file at all Quality settings. This is a nice feature at first, but I think it can be irritating when I’ve selected a quality level I want, adjust an infill setting an the cruncher/slicer needs to recompute everything for every quality.

Automaker is usually pretty intense of the amount of supports it creates if the box is checked. And there is no Preview for layer slicing right now in program.

Is there an easy way to Select “Standard Quality mode” and just ramp down the amount of supports it makes?

I see A few different options for robox filament that sound white. What I want is a Marble-esque, semi translucent white. Up Mini White ABS filament has been one of my favorite, the way it looks in lighting, its just very aesthetically appealing.

big simple shapes tend to come out ok, but when the geometry has a small footprint or is narrow and upright, the layers look sloppy and terrible. Does anyone have any tips?

Say I want to print a character standing up. Basically my robox will print areas like the legs all sloppy and full of blobs.

I’ve seen different color models in the layout view.

Blue = Good to go

Red = Too big

Orange = overlapping another piece

Grey = ??????

I loaded and my model turned out grey. It did not print. Said it canceled. Not sure what to make of it.

We all make last minute position, rotation and even uneven scale changes, so why does Automaker still not have basic controls like Rotate X 45 Rotate Y 45 Rotate Z 45, and Unlock Scale proportions so I can make a piece thicker, or wider in the X Y or Z direction.
