I found out the hard way that I should have read the release hints in the announcements part of this forum. The old custom profiles don’t work very well. I printed something that produced a very odd result in that it used the 0.8mm head and only gave it the 0.3mm amount of filament so I ended up with this lattice sort of perimeter print. It was actually quite interesting and I may actually want that effect one day!
Anyway - lesson of the story: read the release notes.

There are some processes in the update that try to avoid this sort of error but because we are making such big changes at the moment we do recommend a fresh start.
Creating a new custom profile from the new defaults is easy, transferring your custom settings from the old print profile to the new one can be done in AutoMaker with some clicking and a bit of admin.
