RoboxPro › Forums › Feature Request › Bypass cooling when print done (for successive prints)
This topic contains 4 replies, has 3 voices, and was last updated by Jared Reabow 4 days, 11 hours ago.
Is there a way to bypass the cooling procedure when printing multiple prints, it seriously slows down workflow waiting for thing printer to cool, just to warm up again.
Thanks.
How about switch it off and on, assuming you are doing a follow on print, and put up with the error message re hot printhead. 🙂
Unfortunately, with the robox pro:
A: I don’t want to wait for the PI to boot before I can use it.
B: I don’t want the PI to corrupt from unexpected shutdowns.
C: This is a very dodgy solution to something that should be a very simple software fix.
But thanks, I know about this option, just would rather not.
@jaredareabow Can you not just turn off the safety features? Preferences - Printing - Safety Features
This turns off the post-print cooldown and also the door safety on the original Robox, I assume it would for the Pro also, though I don’t have one yet to test.
I operate two Betas and four Production Robox.
I am the US/Canada Technical Support engineer for the Robox.

We're announcing a RoboxDual price drop to £1,119.90 including VAT. Despite what other 3D printer manufacturers would like you to think, high quality dual extrusion printing doesn't have to be expensive. With RoboxDual, you can also print with two materials at the same time - two colours, different materials or using a dedicated water-soluble or breakaway support material - but for a fraction of the cost. Now you can purchase three RoboxDual 3D printers for the cost of one Ultimaker 3. How does that sound for value for money?
