Maybe its just me, but the font isn’t too easy to read ? I cant seem to find where you can adjust it :S

AnonymousYeah, the whole website uses this font. Renders horribly under Chrome / Windows combination for me.
06/12/2013 at 1:08 pm #1050Hi guys,
Yeah thanks for raising this. We’re aware of the issue. We think we have a fix, but the fault is with chrome so the workaround is quite messy.19/12/2013 at 7:18 pm #1135Problem also occurs w/Firefox & IE on my Win8 system, so not just limited to Chrome. Looks like it’s picking the Source Sans Pro font… not sure why it looks so bad.
As a temporary workaround for anyone using Chrome, install the Stylebot extension, then add this CSS (for http://www.cel-robox.com):
body,div,p,a,span,input,textarea,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6 { font-family: 'Segoe UI'; }This will make the site far more readable. (Feel free to choose a different font if you don’t like Segoe, or aren’t on a Windows system.)

Anonymous@ijprest - That’s a great fix, thanks!
The font thing has been raised so many times and CEL just don’t do anything about it - does make me wonder a bit about how much they’ll respond to any issues with their printers… :-0
20/12/2013 at 10:07 am #1141Ha ha, that’s a bolt assumption! Sure it will be fixed sooner or later. Not like there not busy at the moment
20/12/2013 at 12:52 pm #1144its not really high on the priority list, hopefully chrome will fix it so I don’t have to.
If they dont ill have a bash at the ugly hack to make it work or just change the font…
24/12/2013 at 10:25 am #1228I’ve also had trouble reading the forum, I’m using FireFox on Windows and found the font very small and lover contrast. CTRL + MouseWheel scales the font to a more readably level.
I quick fix would to select an alternative theme from those readily supoting BBPress. see http://bbshowcase.org/forums/view/available-themes21/01/2014 at 2:16 pm #1525+1. The font is really extremely hard to read, if not to say a nightmare. Thought it is Mac OS X Safari rendering related problem, but same on Firefox and obviously on Windows. Please switch to a heavier cut of the font.
23/01/2014 at 10:29 pm #1588I just received my new MacBook Pro 13″ w/ Retina Display and noticed that your website suddenly became legible. Could it be that you fellows at CEL are looking at your own website through Retina Displays? In that case you should be informed that that font on your website isn’t legible on standard resolution displays (so virtually any PC & non-Retina Mac).

21/02/2014 at 11:02 am #1787Your website design seems to be made out of Mac with Retina displays… after comparing the website look on Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari on Windows, they all display the same issue, the fonts are too thin to appear solid, this is similar to anti-aliasing.
Now, I compared the same site on iPad Retina and MacBook Retina and the fonts are fully readable, quite nicely actually. An additional issue is that you use a white background on your site, which plays a sort of optical illusion when surrounding the Black and dark grey colors forming the forums topics background.
..:: I'm possible ::.. :: http://roboxing.com21/02/2014 at 10:17 pm #1793@Olivier I agree with your comment about Windows, on a standard LCD screen I’ve done a similar comparison on chrome IE and Firefox and they all have issues.

I mentioned about the white background being too glaring a contrast on another thread as I felt it was one of the main contributing factors to the poor readability a lot of us have been living with.
just a quick scroll down to the bottom of the page where its edge to edge grey, shows what a marked difference it can make and a damn sight less strain on the eyes to boot. -
