    List of supported printers for Element is really impressive: Ultimaker, MakerBot, RepRap and derivates, Zmorph, Lulzbot, and loads of other derivatives… Why not Robox? :(

    Robox also doesn’t appear in many comparison sites or articles…

    It’s the first thing I asked them.
    They don’t have a robox and I guess they don’t want to buy one.

    Now I’m only guessing here, but are all these printers in that list not have the same or compatible software ?

    java (EE), JavaFX, HTML, GIS) programmer, database wizard, framework inventor, looking for a job ! http://roboxing.com/wizards

    Not really - not entirely. There are at least two or three different main models (hardware/firmware + toolsets) + all the clones.

    Still top of the range 3d printers (in this - hobby/home range) are there.

    was curious how things would turn out in different communities,
    but I’m perfectly happy with some old pc’s I can reuse for similar purposes.
