    Hi,

I’ve recently bought a new cel robox and did some test prints with ABS. Below are some pictures of my prints. I am quite happy with the results but since I’m new to 3D printing, I was hoping maybe some of you could help me out.

Settings on which those models were printed:

    Filament: ABS

Nozzle emperature: 245°C for first layers, 235°C

Bed temperature: 125°C for first layers, 115°C

    Speed: 100%

    Flow rate: 95%

    Layer height: 0.2mm

Here are the things I want to understand better:

Somewhere on the prints, the lines are not visible and the surface is really nice, but on the other egde the lines are quite visible and if you run your finger on it you can feel the surface not being even. I calibrated my printer before printing and it prints better on one side as it does on the other. Maybe the bed isn’t alligned? Also, is this the best my printer can do surface wise? I printed some other objects with the same settings and layers on the side looked perfect. The only thing that bothers me is the surface finish on big objects, such the robox cookie cutter logo. Or are nice, smooth surfaces something you can only achieve by maybe sanding the models after they have been printed.

    Thanks

@nluke It looks like you have an RBX01 and the head spring may be a little weak. This can lead to the head mapping being different from side to side. If you have questions like this, you may want to open a support ticket so the support team can assist if you need replacement parts.

I operate two Betas and four Production Robox.
