Hi,
Tonight the right side motor seized. Not sure if the motor or the nuts but sounds awful. Had the other side go a couple of months back and sounds the same. Video from tonight here:
I do believe I am outside of warranty now. Two questions.
1. When buying the motor on the shop does it come with two nuts ?
2. Any guides available ? I’ve had a quick look and it’s not something I’m looking forward to. Pretty handy but not had to remove the bed before.
Thanks for help!
Jack
February 20, 2017 at 10:19 pm #37102@jack-strong I usually ship the motor, nuts, and black plastic housing so that the user doesn’t have to set the tension properly. It will depend on who you get it from.
I have a written guide to do it and there is one on the help site, I don’t know if it is public though.

well I’ve taken the other side apart no problem before. Do you want me to get authorisation from CEL ? Is the right side a pain to do ? Assuming bed then tray removal.
cheers
February 20, 2017 at 10:43 pm #37106@jack-strong You don’t need to remove the bed. You just remove the back cover, bottom cover, right side frame. It is a pain, but you can do it if you follow the instructions. See what CEL says and then let me know if you need my copy.

For all potential future users searching the forum with the same issue. If out of warranty and you need to do it yourself, its pretty simple to do.
Thanks to CEL for quick support of getting a replacement part out asap - Lee FTW
