I noticed that the filament gate entry has two openings but only the upper one is currently in use an leads to the extruder. The bottom entry is supposed to lead to the second extruder for the future dual material head.

The filament gate on my Robox is not labeled and neither is there an imprint on the green reel holder enclosure part (if I recall correctly the marking is shown on the prototype, but for some reason is missing in mass production).

So if you aren’t aware of this and ignore the manual (I know: RTFM, they say. Still many of us don’t), you can end up pushing filament right into the innards of the Robox (repeatedly and wondering why the extruder doesn’t grab it), whereas in worst case, you might stab the ZIF cables or any other cables with the filament’s pointy end. And then one thing could lead to another (think of a 24V spark which kills electronic components).

My suggestions, besides marking the entries with ◁ 1 and ◁ 2: Deliver the Robox with a 3d printed protection cover/plug (red color) installed in the lower filament entry.
