<div> While printing today printer just stopped, no flashing lights and no error messages (printer was disconnected) after i plugged printer and opened AM it didnt show anything wrong so i couldnt resume at all.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Now if i try to start print or any tests or anything i get nozzle control error, with suggest i eject filament and remove head. Eject fails because nozzle dont heat up.</div>
<div></div>
<div></div>
<div>I checked that 2 wire cable at both ends and it seems to be fine. Opened ticket too.</div>
<div>Any suggestions are welcome</div>April 6, 2015 at 3:51 pm #17294@poju It sounds like the head has become unseated. With the power off, loosen the head retaining screw at the back of the head carrier, pull the head away from the head carrier slightly, and re-seat the head. You can do this carefully without removing the filament from the machine. Then tighten the head retaining screw. If the head does not sit tightly in the head carrier, you may have a faulty head retaining screw.

Usually this is due to the power cable being loose or disconnected or the connection between the head and the head carrier not being strong. You have checked the tightness of the end connectors for the power cable. Now check that the tiny square receptacles in the power connection are tight. I had one cable where I had to gently bend the square receptacle on one end of the power cable to tighten it on its mating pin. I pulled off the power cable and used a tiny screwdriver to bend one side of the receptacle on the power cable smaller.
Also check that the ribbon cable between the head carrier and the mainboard is not damaged and has not become unseated.

www.hudsondesignlabs.comApril 6, 2015 at 4:59 pm #17300@bhudson Almost, i manage do x y and z tests and first line in purge untill ran in to error again, but seems obvious that powecable is problem….. Now ill check if its up or low end…..
April 6, 2015 at 5:10 pm #17301Seems that it is carriage end, ill need to tighten those connectors a bit now. Btw, i was gentle, but both connectors was fragile and those claw thingys broke off

April 8, 2015 at 4:23 am #17332Maybe a solder joint failed, among the many problems of my original Robox Head there was the nozzle heater not working well: it was an ugly solder joint at the Head’s PCB. Just gently pulling it, a heater wire detached (it was effectively only wedged), I resoldered it (properly) and the heater came back to life.
Neither other solder joints look excellent (at least on the Head PCB). You may want to check if the ones at the power connector of the carriage are sane, and resolder them well in case (if you have the skills, as a lot of engineers and technicians can’t really do high quality soldering, and after RoHS things went even worse, ask Swatch, they even obtained an exemption!).

April 8, 2015 at 1:36 pm #17354Im getting new tube from another ticket related to this: http://www.cel-robox.com/forums/topic/extra-hole-in-bowden-tube/
Im not sure if cable comes with it, but i took tube and cable off today and it seems that cable it cut off in some spot(i measured it) These might be related
