I know this is a technical question, but everyone seems to be here in Chatter, so hope it’s okay to ask here…
I had a minor problem with my head in that it stopped heating before every print started - once the bed had levelled and it had done its mini purge on the wiper. I solved it by manually lowering the target temperature for a few seconds. The heater kicked in again and then I raised the target temperature back up. All fine. Been working that way for weeks. Apparently this is a rare problem associated with an earth leakage inside the head .
Then some spare heads arrived in the country so CEL offered to swap it out so I sent mine back and they sent a new one to me (the two crossed in the post, which is great service).
I now put it on my Robox and the machine won’t power up properly. If I remove the head (with the power disconnected of course) then the boards power up fine - albeit without the 24V. With it on, I notice that LED4 on the main board is flickering on once per second or so. I can start in safe mode and all is still readable - I just can’t get the 24V to power up.
Does this ring any bells with anyone?
