Any news about this? For the moment I’m using an older version of AM and just ignore the software/firmware update warnings, hopefully there’s no harm done there.

Thank you for the tips, I will certainly play around with these to get a better understanding about slicing in general. Already made a second version of the model which for some reason printed perfectly, will have to take a look to see why 🙂

Hmm, I’m not sure I understand where to make this gap. Are the pictures representing a layer and the yellow area is the part that gets printed? Is there a simple way for me to see this myself so I could confirm correct behavior before printing?

This was a test print between designs so I used low infill to save time and filament. I can certainly increase it but I just thought it was weird how it printed into air when it could have printed the edges first. No errors during installation. Theres some basic information on the attachment as well.

You were right about the top left part - changed the color and gave a name and it’s all good now.

3D models are visible and working.

Just wanted to update the thread to say that Robox replaced the print head with new one and everything is now working as expected!

Ok, it took me a while to get back to this. Since last time, version 2.01.03 of Automaker was released so I installed it along with a new firmware which it prompted to install as well. To my surprise, mini purge works now and the blob is gone. Only one value is changed in the settings - to be honest I’m not sure when I changed this and whether the…[Read more]

I’ll check into re-running the calibrations soon, although I have done them twice already. I’ll see if I’m getting consistent results. The nozzles are closing fully though since there’s no extrusion when the printer is idle. Also not sure how this would help with #1 or #2?

I did do the calibrations before but just in case I did them again as carefully as possible. The nozzle offset worked well and is now centered on both axes - I didn’t realize I should/could run it multiple times to eventually get to the correct alignment. #4 was also much better with no gaps this time. #1 and #2 however are basically the same.
