    Hi all, again 🙂

Over Christmas I designed this trophy for a networking group I belong to called BNI. Each week members give a 60 second presentation to the room (teaching the other members more about their businesses and referrals they’re looking for), and each week the winner of the previous ‘best’ 60 seconds picks the winner for the current week.

Previously there was no trophy, so I thought, why not print something suitable and gift it to the group – and they absolutely love it!

It was printed in 3 separate pieces in white PLA, then glued together with 5-minute epoxy. The front of the lettering was painted with acrylic paint applied with the back of a flat dish sponge 🙂 If I had a dual-head Robox I would have printed the red parts 😉

    Cheers!

    David 🙂

That’s a really pleasing trophey, and the painting looks to have worked very well too!

For the lovely ladies in our office I have printed a small crown from Thingiverese, that gets passed around between them each week and sits on their desks, for the weeks winner of their dieting club.

They tell me its great motivation!
