I was printing a 100mm high print last night and I noticed this morning that there is a small (<1mm) step in the y axis of the print about 100 layers in to the print. My cabinet is therefore a bit wonky and it has a step in the wall (in on one side, out on the opposite side).

Has anyone experienced this before? Any clues why the head would suddenly change its positional awareness? The print was nowhere near the edge of the bed.

Trying to spread the word about 3D printing to small and medium sized businesses in the West Midlands.

Hi there. I’m having some serious stepping issues with larger prints. Lubricated the guide bars and ran the x and y tests with no dramas. Although problem has not stopped. Steps range from 1 to 15 mm and are always towards front of bed, so y axis issue. Any suggestions.??
