Hi folks,
Before I send my extruder back because the printer randomly stops, saying the Polar white PLA filament has run out (it hasn’t), I want to see if anyone else has had the problem. Could it be caused by material (Pla dust, strands etc) getting into the extruder’s sensor? Could air blown through possibly help clear it? Schedules are tight, so I’m just trying to avoid the return downtime if it makes sense.
@kenjkelly Very rarely does anything get into the sensor on the extruder. I have yet to see a single case where cleaning the extruder has solved this issue.
I operate two Betas and four Production Robox.
I am the US/Canada Technical Support engineer for the Robox.

Ok, thanks Ben. Just wanted to be sure. You are very helpful.
