    here we go, another one, and it’s not in the first place a 3D printer,
    but this has a WAW-factor if you ask me: 5AXISMAKER

    Too expensive for my budget, but worth it’s price I think.

    Oh, that is nice… I want one!

    Incidentally, that kind of multi-axis operation is where a robot arm is actually of benefit… and they’re still using a gantry ;)

    Yep very cool, I would love one. Not sure that robot arm is better, depends on physical reach of tool I think, also maybe gantry a little less expensive to design and make. There was a robot style arm I saw recently http://www.3ders.org/articles/20140917-flx-arm-low-cost-scara-robotic-arm-for-3d-printing.html , but obviously only 3 axis, but still very cool, love to have one on my desk. Those joints would have been interesting to design with no slop!
